Got hooked on SOM baseball board game with 1979 season. Would play backyard baseball with the neighbors and after that play Strat double and triple headers. Played SOM football 1987 season.

Started in 1965 with the '64 teams, and have played ever since. Last "new" season was 1991. Play past seasons now (1911, 1927, 1934, 1950, and bought the 1964 for old times sake). Still never played the computer game

started playing the board game in 1989...still play in a face-to-face league with the 3 dice and 20 sided die to boot...been playing the on-line game since it started in May 2002.

Started at some point back in the mid to late 70's, when the Pirates and Padres were the 2 teams that came with the game (odd choice!).
