These are all the guys with years that include 1985. You have to see if they are on a final roster for 1984

80's Players with First and Last Years

Postby YountFan » Mon Jan 16, 2006 3:55 pm

Here is my 80's players excel file. Right click on link below and select Save Target As...

There is a Hitters and a Pitcher worksheet. The columns labeled FY and LY are the first and last years on their card. You can use the autofilter drop down to select a year. This will be useful when looking for free agents during the season also .

Wow the champange hasn't gone flat on Big Alric's celebration and we have started the draft....

First of all, Congratulations to the "FOUR of TEN" for bringing the championship to the Central Division. The playoffs were rich with unlikely performances and pure drama as only the post-season can provide.

The Pork Chop Express look forward to energizing their sagging play with the announcement of KIRBY PUCKETT as the second pick in the 1985 draft.

Depending on who drops to me, I may be looking to trade down in the first round. Keep that in mind if there's someone you want in the top 7.

Hi BC- In general terms, what would you be looking for to trade down?

IM, I haven't really even thought about it. I guess my areas of need would be 3B, RF, DH and as always, SP.

With the selection of Fernandez, Dave Concepcion becomes available to anyone that needs a SS for 1985 only. I'll be reasonable, and would like a SP that also expires in 1985/86 to make it fair.

Good luck with the draft men.
