Lincecum
Chamberlain
Buchholz
Jimenez
Lester

That's a pretty scary rotation if all these guys pan out. Nice shopping Qk! :)

Yeah I'm pretty pleased KD, I have to admit. I knew I'd get the 1st 3, but aside from losing Barton & Headley, it's been a good draft for me so far.

I'm mad at myself though - I really did want to get way from all the LH hitters & get some SW guys, that's why I was PO'd not to pull the trigger on those guys. Nabbing Delcarmen when I did cost me... :?

Yeah thanks KD, ya bastard! I was thinking "well, if he took Headley, at least Wood should be around when I pick" but NOOOOO

Anyone looking for a young catcher prospect, come knock on my door.
I'll move either Towles or Saltalamacchia.

I'm shocked that Saltalamacchia lasted so long, so I had to pull the trigger on that. SOMworld's survey of Strat rookie drafts had him averaged as a Top 20 pick.

I guess they didn't know that the Rangers have already name Laird the starter and have talked about Salty playing a full year in AAA to work on his defense. It appears they like the "gun" over the "bat".

You also wonder how much Teargarden will affect things, the Rangers are stacked at C

Yeah, I hear if Salty does not improve enough on D, they'll just move him to 1B in the end. They have stopgaps there now.

Far cry from last spring when he was *THE* pick at C, now it's Soto but we never know....

I still have assets to deal:

Cust
Tallet
Tracy
Matsui

Will take current or future picks. LMK.
