I guess if we are going to have people go AWOL then we need to have a clock like in GMKL to get this finished.

I don't think I can start it arbitrarily in the middle of a round or I would skip Hawk here like he got skipped in GMKL, [b:f3a9048cc1]but the clock will definitely be ON starting at the top of Round 8[/b:f3a9048cc1]

4 hour clock -- starting at 8 AM EST (hence a 4 hour clock for the WC'ers) going through Midnight EST.

PS This does NOT include choosing someone who is ON the FA list who is actually owned. That then is MY fault, [b:f3a9048cc1]but please[/b:f3a9048cc1], if you can double check your choice with the complete rosters page that I post here in the thread as well, then we will have no problems. At this stage of the draft, we get slowed down by people choosing players already taken, and then leaving thinking they have successfully picked. [size=18:f3a9048cc1]Proxies are great, but they will fall under this category as well. If you leave a proxy with someone that is INELIGIBLE your proxy chooser will go to the next player on your list. REMEMBER, if in doubt -- ask. If the player is already taken then there is no harm. If not, he's yours. Nothing to lose or give away.

Actually FD, THAT Gonzlaez is the GOOD ONe. He used to be a 1 and is still a 2 defensively.

The OTHER one has NO redeeming quality!

Actually that's not true, the year before he came up with toronto, he won the international league batting title hitting .357 (or some where thereabouts), for my home town Syracuse Chiefs. It was written and comparisons were made, to A-rod and Jeter. They were going to be the "holy Trinity" at ss in the 90's. Unfortunaltly he was never able to put up that kind of batting average in the bigs, although he did usually hit about 15-20 HR's his first couple of years while being a 2 on defense.
