Not sure if I'm as stunned as you are Niners, but it is a surprise to me. Just like finding Guthrie available this late. :)

Niners - if we get to your pick in the 7th round (#77) and we still haven't heard from Hawk, would you please hold your pick until we can get a hold of him? I don't want to get too far ahead. Thanks

I fully knew Miller was available (and I have him in USKL) but I think he was rushed way to fast and has not had the chance to polish his stuff, and you just can't do that at the Major League level imo. He has been suffering the usual control problems in Spring Training again so I steered clear in the early rounds.

****. I wish you could have just kept Bailey. Miller's stuff is untouchable when he sorts his control issues out he will be a force.

True, but he's my 4th prospect pitcher (Adam Miller, Gio Gonzalez,Danks and now Andrew) given those numbers, if he doesn't come on for another year or two, that's ok and I'm willing to take the risk.

I goTta say I'm happiest with my GMKL draft of the 3 keeper leagues so far.

Hawk sent me an email, he knows he is being skipped, internet access interrupted due to tornado, hopes to be on later today.

I've also heard from Hawk, and he's said to skip him and keep the draft moving.

In any case, we will proceed no farther than his pick #89 in the 8th Rd. Hopefully he can email me a pick or check in sometime this afternoon and make it.
