Hmmm...I'm hoping for at least that from Doyle. I'm in Baker, so that should help a bit.


Stan's run on that other team is overshadowing perhaps the finest Mickey Cochrane performance I've ever seen.

Used to love Doyle . . . until I realized how important D was, particularly at 2nd. Always a good stick, with that wonderful speed. Best season in the Astrodome for me:

.347 .565 .405, 39 stolen bases, 127 runs scored.

Team won 94 games (most in the league) and lost in semis, Three Finger losing game one [b:4187b9774e]and[/b:4187b9774e] game five - and both at home. Next playoff I was in . . . I lose in the semis, and to Three Finger in both game 1 and game 5. :D Just a little example of my "luck."

Ya gotta love it.
