Good luck guys. I think it's going to be fun, and I think the G'Joobs are going to surprise a few of you. At least I hope so.

Looks like the teams are set for the most part, season starts tomorrow. Should be fun (as long as I make the playoffs) Thanks for the analysis steve, I always enjoy reading stuff like that. Curious though, was the tough call on my team because you think they may do better or worse?

Glad we finally get to start tonight. As far as predictions, it almost feels like one of those seasons where 10 games will be the spread between best and worst overall records.

I think it will come down to whoever can perform best on the road. Everyone's teams as built look solid for there own ballpark, so performance on the road should be key.

I'm just glad to have gotten a back-handed compliment (or is it a back-handed insult...hmmm) from Steve as basically being the best in the worst division.

Good luck everyone! Looking forward to the league!

[quote:792353fbd8]nice analysis. did you take into account ballparks of just do something on the cards w/o ballparks.[/quote:792353fbd8]

The analysis was only based on the composition of teams - not on choice of ballparks.

There wasn't a huge difference in ballparks in 2007.

Cheers,

Roscodog - It was a tough call because it was hard to choose between your team and Santa Fe for second place. I chose you ahead of Santa Fe because of your superior win percentage in 2007.

More Predictions

Postby FRANKZAHN » Wed Mar 19, 2008 6:21 am

Sure, I'll make some predictions;

East
Basking Ridge
Alameda
Dumbledore's
Cristano

West
Santa Fe
Deja Vu
Best Damn Strat Team
Brooklyn

West
Walrus
Hawg Wild
Minnow
Farce

Hawgwild will be the wildcard team and win it all.
That and $5 will buy you a cup of coffee.

[b:e232c4e5ed]predictions:[/b:e232c4e5ed]

[b:e232c4e5ed]east:[/b:e232c4e5ed]
86.9 cristano
83.7 hendrix
78.3 detroit
77.2 sherbert

[b:e232c4e5ed]central:[/b:e232c4e5ed]
83.0 terry
82.5 rosco
80.8 fjzahn
78.7 stevep

[b:e232c4e5ed]west:[/b:e232c4e5ed]
83.1 akindian
80.3 azhawg
79.4 uncle
78.6 keyzick

as u can see, its pretty close... as expected... typically when i play in auto leagues i can get around 93.0 wins, and in tour events 91.0 wins...

these win totals are:
-ballpark adjusted
-schedule adjusted
-sp and rp ip adjusted
-injury adjusted
-defense adjusted
-per team LHL and RHL use adjusted
-any other type of adjusted u can think of

so the outcome of this league will be... largely... a coin flip... but this is how we crown the tour champ, so good luck to all...
