Good legwork YF......Amazing how Al Holland posted the top ERA and WHIP before hanging up his fireman's helmet this year which brings me to our BACK TO THE 80's HOF. (Of course we KNOW a pure reliever will never be voted into the Hall    )

I recommend a three year waiting period from the final year of eligibility with the normal 75% needed for entry into the hallowed shrine. We should probably vote this off-season on the inital members.

HOF

RR, I'm glad to see you revitalize the idea of a HOF. I'd like to do this.

Don't know if you were serious about the 3 year waiting period. My proposal is that players be eligible after 1 year (season) of being retired.

Congrats to BigAl on your World Series Championship

We had a lot of tight games as our teams were pretty evenly matched. The Breakers were hoping to get to game 7 when they would have had the Big Guy RR on the mound. Not to be, as my normally steady bullpen spit the bit. Great season everyone. Bring on 1985!!!

Congrats Big Al on your well deserved championship. Interesting that we've had 4 different winners in the 4 seasons. Goes to show the parity we have in this league.

I didn't vote for a reliever of the year earlier (didn't even know it was an award)....but for the record, I'll give my vote to Doug Corbett of Stealing Home. Pitched in a very tough enviornment (Kingdome), yet was 2nd in the league in saves and maintained terrific a ERA and WHIP.

Now someone find Hak so we could start 1985!!!

Congrats to BigA on his first championship this decade. Also congrats to IMB. You both had great seasons.

Onto 1985. Hak, where are you?

Thanks, guys. I am very happy now!!! Is there a finals MVP? I vote for Al Oliver in his last year

Next year I will go for the repeat (but that's what my 3 predecessors thought as well, I guess...) Great league with great people! Let's get it on for 1985.
