Good, bad,ugly

I think we are far enough into the 2007 season game to start listing some players who are over and under performing.

Good: Russell Martin -- yes he costs alot, but not only do you get decent gitting and slugging, plays great def and doesnt get hurt.

Bad: Chris Duncan -- was expecting more out of him...atleast some HR's!!he sucks

Ugly : Carlos Pena -- cant complain about his production, but he missed about 1/2 the games due to injury so far

anyways...just a limited review of my team.......

ARod has been worth about $1.12, not 10X that amount

66 games

237 32 46 8 0 7 25 34 64 6 2 7 .194 .302 .317

Pathetic , even in Busch '07

So far for me is batting .200 with 5 HR's in 18 games but still too early to call him a bust.

I like Fausto Carmona so far; expensive, but a stud for me at least

Posada is brilliant for me.

Pena...pulled a 15-gamer, and his BA is awful. OBP is actually really good though I didn't draft him for walks, and SLG is good but not as good as hoped. He is sure sight better than Chris Gomez, however...

I've had Carlos Pena playing in PNC and so far he's been quite good; he's among the league leaders in homers, solid on base and respectable average.

David Wright, while not a perfect fit for PNC, has shown absolutely no power - 7 doubles and 2 homers through 42 games. He's even been lousy on the basepaths getting thrown out 6 of 16 steal attempts. Next time, I'll go with Chipper at third.

In our league, Chuck James and Ubaldo Jimenez have been low cost revelations, although with the caveat that most of the parks are pitcher's parks.
