$100 MM Salary Cap

Postby TomSiebert » Mon Mar 31, 2008 8:21 pm

Confirming the Salary Cap for the Joe Walsh not-wannabe.

How is Vizquel not the biggest bargain around? Under $2MM for the best fielding SS in the game???

If I had more time to scout while sailing, I might not have gone w/ Garland and attempted a five or six man rotation, with a couple studs up front and then a rotating back half.

Return trip a pain in the @ss, as usual for anything flight related. Delayed 90 minutes in Orlando, fly into LGA, hit the middle of the Bronx just in time for the Yankees game to finally be postponed, and we craaaaaawl to the GW Bridge and beyond. In the perfect world, we were all back home by 4 pm. In reality, it was closer to 8.

Glad to be back, but can't spend too much time lingering on the game and leaving everybody else to unpack, do wash, etc.....will return in early AM....

tom, goo to have you back on terra firma. as MOST of you can see, this thing is REALLY smooth when you leave proxies. tom turned a oorner for us today while lost at sea, and in a sea of manhatten traffic. can we PLEASE try to have more GROUP consideration?!
kudos to all those that proxied up and moved us along....

Vizquel will be a Hoover at shortstop, but he will also make lots and lots and lots of outs.

I plan to do two big guys up front (I know Cain isn't anyone's definition of a big guy, but the Giants didn't hit a lick for him last year) and four others in the back. Meat and Cal have put together lineups that necessitate a certain number of lefty hurlers, and we're pretty near Barry Zitoville in that regard.

I see we are staying true to form so I should pick today (Every 2 days) and then pick on Thursday. I have a 9-12 EST Meeting this morning so Text me if my turn comes up so I do not hold things up. I will leave proxies with Tom before I go to be as close to accurate as I can. SGT D

I added Upton. I think I've got 90 players down now (exactly halfway through the players we need to select), which is where we should be.
