I would say that Escobar will be solid SS for the coming 10 years. His D is just above average....I don't see GG's in his future. I do see .290-.310 avg with some pop. His numbers will spike for 2-3 seasons and perhaps he will see an all star appearence or two. Time will tell.

If they both stay in the NL....I think he will be playing in Tulo's shadow over the next 10 years.

I don't need GG's just move that 3 to a 2 and I'll be happy and srpinkle in about 20 SB's to go with 15 HR's.

The GG's at ss will come down to Reyes and Tulo for the next few years I expcet, Rollins should NOT have won it this year, but Wright shouldn't have either.

This draft is going about like I predicted, except I'm not getting the core I wanted. The Markakis pick especially hurt.

Now where is Russ Adams... :?

I agree.

I don't see any huge surprises, although I cringe with each pick I make wondering if somehow my lack of familiarity with this on-line format will prove my undoing.

Or, perhaps, it will be my lack of talent and poor decision-making. But, frankly, I'm planning on blaming each loss on the computer software.

See?

I'm feeling better about my picks already.

Hope the Young pick isn't a stretch, but with Markakis going early I figure Young will never make it back to me.

If you are really nervous about the online version of the game I highly suggest you seek out the Newbie's/rookies advice thread in the stratgey forum and read through it. There is a alot of VERY helpful advice about Strat in general, and the online game specifically.

And yes HAL is a PR*** :D

As Niner mentioned.....for those who are new to the on line version of Strat or just Strat in general this is the best primer on the game available....a real must read! It comes from perhaps the greatest online player of all, MarcusWilby aka Luckyman,...the guy is truely brilliant.....studies brain functions and thought patterns in humans. Enjoy....

Man, there were 3 different directions I wanted to go with my current pick of O.Cabrera, but I thought he was the smarter pick. Im sure he would have been gone when things came back around. I will be going nuts until my next pick now.
