Cornering the market on Lees

Postby calbatross » Tue Apr 01, 2008 3:28 pm

If Brian (SGT D) adds Cliff Lee to his pitching staff, he will sweep the Lees!

Durantjerry, make another pick!

We skipped your last round pick, so you may pick again.

On another note, just sent a couple of proxies to Meat. I'll likely check in late tonight.

Looks like he's gone....

Don't see durantjerry active on the site anywhere....he still managed to swoop in and snap up my would-be leadoff guy. ARGH.

Well the lineup is set:

1). Pedroia 2B (R) .317, .380, .442
2). Jeter SS (R) .322, .388, .452
3). Markakis RF (L) .300, .362, .485
4). D. Lee 1B (R) .317, .400, .513
5). Fielder DH (L) .288, .395, .618
6). C. Lee LF (R) .303, .354, .528
7). Atkins 3B (R) .301, .367, .486
8). Martin C (R) .293, .374, .469
9). Rios CF (R) .297, .354, .498

This team should put up some runs :D . I have tried Speed, Relief Corp, Starting Pitching but never this approach. When I can have Rios batting last I must be doing something right. Will the Pitching Suck  , YES, but that is why we play the game (You go Herm). SGT D

Got the proxies, but haven't looked at them. Readying for bed -- fried after day at work after vacation.

Sarge's lineup looks pretty formidible, but can it score enough runs to keep up with his as-yet undetermined pitching staff?

Meat,

Please read the proxies before you fire them everywhere. I asked you in the message to not send them anywhere else. I listed the eight guys I really wanted in order there and that is too much to be giving away.

I know it may hold up the draft, but if we are going to be that reckless just to get a few picks done, I won't be sending out any more proxies.

If anyone has my proxies and has not read them, please delete them.

Thanks,

Turtle
