I like the town better than the Hall. Plan on retiring to Vermont eventually -- following in my grandfather's footsteps -- but wouldn't mind living in the Cooperstown area either. Check out Fly Creek sometime right by Cooperstown, some serious money there.

The information for the 1st round:

1. ATG III....Version 2 price format....
2. 80M, no dh, advanced, waivers following an autodraft, and 20% penalty for drops...
3. Stadiums are not unique
4. Commissioner sets the League to be called: "Road to 1,000 LGs"- LG #1 or 2 or 3 or 4
5. [b:19bd584916]Commissioner must PASSWORD PROTECT and forward to East managers for loading then last in the East will forward to Central managers then last in the Central will forward to West managers [/b:19bd584916]
6. The Champions Round will be made up from the following 12 participants...

a. League Champions----4
b. League Finalists----4
c. Next 4 best records from all leagues combine....I will take the best 4 records and the tie breakers will be decided as follows:
i. runs differential---runs scored less runs allowed and if a tie then
ii. Pick Three Lottery--highest to lowest

NOTE: It is possible although unlikely that a non playoff team within a league could make it to the Champions Round if he/she qualifies to be within the next 4 best records. So it is important to win as many games as you can....

Bobby... I'm totally swamped with work & family/life stuff... in all honesty I don't think I'd be able to spend much time enjoying this event as much as I would normally... so I think a better alternative would be to give my spot to one of the alternates who would enjoy it... looks like Lindonman?

Sorry to miss out, but I'd hate to take a spot from an alternate and not make the most of it... best wishes to "team 1000" and the 48 managers.

Yes, I'm a New Hampshire man just like modmark. Actually, I am closer to it than Mark is. I live about an hour from that lake. I would guess that Mark lives about 3 hours from it.
Of course, NH has many great lakes, not even including Winnipesaukee, Sunapee, or Winnisquam (the most notable).

But then I see all the people who I have been whooped by in other tournaments who are with me in League 4, and I think "wow this tourney is going to be tough!!!" What did I get myself into? :o :D :wink:
