How does Live Draft work?

I was thinking about seeing how it works ...

Does this mean everyone has to be there on line at one time?

Or can a draft be arannged for picks to be selected over a few days?

Just need to understand it better... so thanks for answering my questions.

Live drafts can be handled several ways..

1) draft from these boards. Ususally there is a time limit for each slot...1, 2, 3 hrs are typical.

2) draft from these boards and have a set time(ie hour of the day) for each gm to make his picks.

3) use the somdraft.com site. This is the best..however, the operator has not yet entered 07 set...soon though. Yo can go there now and create an account but you can't utilize any functions until you are in a league.

Most LD's are for 18 players and a stadium...this allows for a pecking order in the waiver period....but full 25 rounders are not rare.

However you do it...live draft is the best way to build a team.

also, is it 1-12 in each round, or does it snake back 1-12 and the 12-2 in the next round, and then alternate?
