Technically, we're not talking 10 more DP's we're talking 20, but that gets all long and lengthy....
It was brought up about DP's , you seemed to like the idea. Which, I do too. In the 2002 version, I created a whole team (inlcuding platoons where needed) of hitters with less than a 3% chance of hitting into a DP. Team won 96 games or so, but lost the finals....
With the lineups I suggested, they maximize OBP at the one spot, leads off first to cut down on DP, and did the best I could as far as clutch and balance (splitting up R hitters and L hitters)
If your afraid of Wills that far up against R, slot him 7th, or 8th if you like, and swap Smith and Foy.
Doing such however, would significantly weaken your bottom of the order, I mean, your talking Foy Wills Millan Pitcher 6-9.......
Also, remember, your balking at Smith batting 7th, well, Millan was leading your team in RBI, I say, play the hot hand......
These are all just suggestions, and not to be taken as the Holy Book. Your 25 bucks, do as you please, I will not be offended if you do not use the lineups I suggested, promise.
Scoring runs still seams to be an issue, so, I ask others to chime in batting orders for our friend here.
