All in all, we're kind of just splitting hairs, too. I don't think there is some kind of mispricing either for against Lee or Howard. They're basically both fairly (and equally) priced, and probably interchangeable. Me and [b:fc1b1e77a8]Jeep[/b:fc1b1e77a8] might argue in favor of the high OPS at bats vs. righties, but the better balanced, better glove, better average argument has merits as well.

What's our next topic of discussion??

Probably the next topic, will be the most important, if the topic is: "Who wins the season series between Hellyeahs and Woodbury Heights Bosox?"

That's more than bragging rights, that might get a family feud going

Ouch.

Well, we lucked into a couple of wins in the first series. Definitely some pitchers duels Got three hits off of Sabathia and Perez comes back in game 3 and tosses a one hit shutout for a 1-0 win. Miles gets a leadoff 2b to start the 6th. Meanwhile Wright hits a solo shot for our only run off of Wang and Gardner.

Looks like Chin Music still has some cap to play with. Don't know what he's waiting for. :?

My pitching got stalled on one of those American flights that was grounded. Hopefully the[i:fafa0f3aab] real[/i:fafa0f3aab] guys find alternate transportation and show up[u:fafa0f3aab] tonight[/u:fafa0f3aab]. :? :(

During the first series, stuff happened. Hamels got into a "bar fight" at the gatorade cooler and is out for 10 days. Apparently my reliever Sherrill tripped over the white lines leaving the field and he got injured for one game.
However, I want an investigation into both injuries as they both came when Victor Martinez was hitting. His locker was searched for the presence of a voodoo doll, but Martinez quickly emptied his locker and left by the time it was searched.
The guy I hoped wouldn't pitch all year pitched 4 2/3 in one game to win, and got a save in the other. My sterling defense is on pace for 162 errors.
Derrick Lee was a bright spot, hitting .333 (1 hit in 3 games). The GM's answering machine light is blinking.
If my team didn't have a lot of Hart though (2 Hr's), we would have been swept.
I will be calling the commish to see if game times can be pushed back until 2 AM, since it appears my team doesn't get their mojo until the last 1/3rd of the game.

Nice posts guys. :D

Jeep, if you weren't so friggin' cheap you'd have had your team on a charter! ;)

Spock, I think the key thing is getting rid of your "trainer" Victor Conte. Yeah, your guys are strong, but they break down easy. ;)

Yes, in hindsight, perhaps letting a trainer in the room with a hood and ski mask on was not the best idea. No [i:9fb5e6acbe]butts[/i:9fb5e6acbe] about it.

Joe, we got a budget to stick to...Those charter flights are too darn expensive, and besides that once we give in to the charters the next thing they'll want is snacks and beer in the clubhouse.
