Relax man--you have a good core. Burnett's good there.
It's complex with all the hitter's parks amidst your Petco island...
I didn't take a hard look at your team, but ask any vet--you need to be offensive-slanted in Petco or you'll never score...there's an exception to that if you get a guy like Santana and then a few cheapies then it's OK to have that stud if you structure your pitching around him--but if you want to win then I doubt you'll find too many folks who have had success in Petco who spent more than 30 mil on pitching--in fact 26-30 is more common from what I've seen.
I only had one team in Petco...won the div and went to the finals.
Greinke for instance was 15-6, 3.97. Pettite had about a 3.40 ERA. I think I posted a link on another Petco lineup help thread. And that was with Casey, Kendall, Drew etc.
I haven't really analyzed your team--but you still want good D in Petco and I think yours is suspect. Izturis is great. I wouldn't play a 4 in the OF. If it were me, Manny has to DH but looks like you have Thome doing that. BTW--Thome has 14 natural XBHs against righties--you'll note that's top tier power--someone like Drew only has 8 XBH I believe...but it won't be a net positive if you have to play Ramirez in the OF--he either DHs or Thome DHs IMO.
A Petco staff could easily have an ace of Pedro Martinez then lesser guys and do awesome.
Good Luck--my opinion is shore up your D...spend 26-30 on pitching and have fun and let us know how it goes. Don't second guess--verify your own analysis and maybe you'll come up with a new paradigm--there's more than one way to win, especially when one accounts for the dynamics of divisional opponents.
