dropped ayala, picked up Cordero....a bit expensive, but just do not see any cheapo's that fit the bill...is that better!??

Easier to find the cheapo specialists in 2003 for sure eh?? :)

Mike, besides Gload (who really when you think about it) really isn't a slugger, who is going to mash the LHSP that you will see?

problem is, if you get a cheap right handed slugger vs lefties, shea negates all of his bphrs.....of course would be nice out of shea, say in another hitters park, but typically, i just try and get platoons that can get xtra base hits and decent obp vs lefties (like bocachica, j.molina and gload) belliard would have been nice too....but like to have a lowell just for what you are pointing out....not there however, so will continue to look.... :)

Beltre is good but Shea takes away some of his power with 1-3 BPHR for righties. Mora has more OB, especially against lefties, good doubles and is about $3 million less.

Many people have posted that they like their most expensive hitters to be tailored to their park, in this case lefty power.
