Do you rest players prior to playoffs

There are two off days before the first round of the playoffs.

Thanks to everyone who shared their opinions. I will set up my rotation and probably rest a few injury prone guys. Brett is having a great year for me but he keeps getting hurt, so I will rest him , Gary Carter ,and probably a couple other guys.

I try to rest guys who are a high injury risk.

and Ill try to get my pitchers lined up.

Same here unless the seeding could be effected. For example, one season I didn't rest anyone because I wanted (but failed to get) the #1 seed in order to play a relatively weak wildcard team.

Another time I clinched early, rested key players, and made it to the finals. Ironically, I ended up with three injured starters for game 7 of the finals, and I got shutout!

So, next time I make it to the finals, it goes to game 7, and what happens? I end up with three injured starters. However, one of the starters was a starting pitcher not scheduled to start (so I was really down "only" two players), and I won the game.

I was locked into the number 4 seed. Otherwise I might not have benched Brett,Molitor,Trammell,and Gary Carter. I let Eckersley get a start to set up Floyd Youmans for game one of the playoffs. Thanks for everyone's input.

My 2007 team has a 15 game division lead with 21 games to play. Its over.

Ive got a 4 game lead for best record.

However, Ive already had Carlos Pena go down for 15 games once, so when I get to 15 games remaining in the season , he is sitting .
