We'll take our wins however they come - next time it might be me singing the blues, although I hope not.

Carl M-ville Monsters

By the way, last night I attended my first game at the Nationals new stadium in Washington. Its pretty nice especially as the Nationals treated us to a win which has been rare so far.

Carl, Cool that you got to see the new park. Wish it would have been open when I was back there a couple of years ago.

Lost another heartbreaker tonight with Teixeira booting a run in in the 10th. We're 0-6 in Xtras so far. :( Heath Bell, my 5 million dollar man is 0-5. Ouch. Course, it would also help if we could get .50 guys like Jason Kendall out with the game on the line. :(

Lost 2, both by 1 run and both in the last at bat of the game. Man, that hurts. Two BS for Wilson. Last one a SSx on Jeter goes for a 1-2 hit in the bottom of the 9th.

After I peeled some paint off the clubhouse walls, I told 2 players to take a hike, we'll send them their things (maybe). Buh Bye James (panty) Shields and Garrett Atkins, who is best know for his power and batting average going on a diet. Losing 3 to my good friend is never tolerable. Ever since he hit that home run off of me in wiffle ball at that BBQ years ago, and I drilled him with a fastball on his shoulder, losing to Jim is not acceptable (and the inside part of the plate is mine). (at least we still won  )

Yeesh, I may need to blister my guys after tonight. Getting swept by JPav isn't *that* surprising, he does have a good team, but getting 3 hit by Jamey Wright and Gabbard? Pathetic. Those guys just aren't very good. There's a good reason they are 2.35 or less in cost.

At least Zambrano is pretty good, but, brutal, 11 hits in three games.

We've got to get it turned around, we've been cold as ice (as the above rants have shown) and, hopefully, this joke of a night at the plate will be the bottom.

If you were to subtract my regular's BA's from their cards, as a group, they are hitting about 340 points below where they should be (about). Similar with my pitchers. SOM always says that the numbers end up where they should be, but I don't see how mine will come close. The one thing my team should have been able to do is hit, but a .263 BA at CBP is not hitting.

[b:b5edeb1002]Joe[/b:b5edeb1002], they're not just doing well against the [i:b5edeb1002]Roadrunners[/i:b5edeb1002]...so I don't think it's an accident; although so far, better than I would have expected. :D

Spock,

You're third in the league in scoring. I don't think that's your problem. I'll be releasing the ratings soon, I need to go over them quickly to make sure I didn't mess anything up, but your Offense if pretty much right on and your pitching is too. Now, your luck? not so hot, you're majorly underperforming your rating.

JPav, come on, 3 hitters... in one series... from both of them? Again, there's a reason they're priced they way they are. Especially Wright, facing almost all LHB. I was missing splits BIG time. :(

You're overperforming your rating by a good deal so far. It will be interesting to see if you come back to earth. Both your hitting and pitching are slightly above where the ratings would expect them. Maybe it's just great managing. ;)

Here are the overall ratings. Music and the Yeah's are working at about $11 mil under the cap so, of course, their ratings are brutal. Just can't make all those moves and stay competitive.

Other than that, it would appear that Daddy is over performing as are the Saints, big time. Not sure how to explain the Saints as their pitching is actually underperforming! :? and their hitting isn't *that* much out of whack. Of course, they have been out scored by 40 runs so they must be winning the close ones.

The rest are pretty close. I expect the Yeahs to tail off given their moves.

Offensively, things are pretty close. Monster isn't getting what he should expect in a big way, especially in his park. Expect his offense to take off.

The BoSox OTOH, are really hitting better than expected. Perhaps he's just staying healthy as he has a TON of injury guys and only 4 subs.

A couple of other teams Tornados and RoadRunners are slightly below, but not in a big way. That could rectify itself quickly (I hope! ;))

The West has the best offenses. The Central (besides for Jeep) at the bottom.
