Don't hesitate to make your pick if the clock expires on an owner, with a 6 hour clock and if an owner doesnt use proxies or check in, then they should expect to be skipped.

But it pays to leave them with more than 1 person.
In case the 1 person isn't available.
Or if the 1 person isn't going to be around, he forward it to someone who will be.
