All owners have now voted it looks like. The majority preference is for a seperate 1 round draft with a randomized draft order.

This draft will take place after the regular 6 round FA Draft. I'll set up the FA Draft later this evening. Once the FA Draft is entering the 6th round, we'll have a random number generator determine the order of the New Cards Draft. The 1 round draft will be held on the chat thread.

For this 1 round you will be allowed to

(a) make 1 pick

or

(b) pass

or

(c) make 1 pick and You are allowed to drop 1 player to make room for this player.

Any players dropped during the 1 round draft are considered FAs, just like any player not drafted during the FA Draft, and will be fair game to be added as an autodraft pick, or added to your roster after the autodraft runs.

Ok, since the supplementary draft is to take place AFTER the regular 6 round draft, does that mean the new players are off limits for the regular draft? This was not my understanding. I thought the one round draft was to take place BEFORE the regular FA draft...

Now I'm confused.

I'll be leaving here by the crack of dawn tomorrow and won't be back until Tuesday afternoon. I'll have very limited internet access so if I don't get to start the draft tonight, I may not be able to draft until Tuesday afternoon. No rush, just wanted to let everyone know I'll be mostly off line until Tuesday PM.

That is correct. The supplementary draft is after the regular FA draft. That is why it is a supplemantary draft - since it is in addition to the regular draft. ;)

And yes, all NEW Cards are off limits for the regular FA Draft. I can exclude them from the FA Draft if requested.

All keepers should now be excluded. Please double check to make sure that your keepers are excluded, and of course that you can access the draft. :)
