Rick Ankiel???

Has anyone used Ankiel this year? If so how did he produce?

I'm playing in US Cellular and like that he is a LHH that hit LHP well. I think that with the number of LH bat I have in my lineup I will see a good number of LHP. Thanks for the help.

I usually bat him cleanup against LHP, and 6th against RHP.

thru 69 games he has 12 hrs-37 rbi's .257 avg for me and was injured for 7 games

I had Ankiel for a little less than half a season in PNC and he was ineffective. There weren't too many lefty starters in my division and two of the other parks favored pitchers but even at home he didn't hit well, i.e. OPS under .700. My guess is that he's best avoided except in bigtime slugging parks.
