Ok picked up Walker, will play him in RF until he gets injured, then Giles will take that spot. Platoon Giles with Giambi at 1b. Looks like I'll need to pick up someone to hit righties in the DH platoon when Walker is injured, do you think [b:8ba5b3e4a5]Tracy or Valent[/b:8ba5b3e4a5], will have to drop Merloni either way.

Because of the hitting parks in your division, I'd go with Valent.

This team, IMHO, is loking MUCH better. :D

If Cliff Lee is available, dump Gobble for him. Or Capuano.

It's always nice to have these cheap LH's just in case you need to throw him @ home. (Gobble is a cannon fodder)

Castillo should hit much higher, especially vs. LH's.

Well with a sweep my team clinched best record in the league last night.

It definetly wasn't a pretty season. I started off at 5-16!! Almost otre the team apart, eventually went at one point and won 7 series in a row, the duroing the sever down time I lost 9 straight!! But went on a tear at the end, winninf 10 series in a row, and just swept the 2nd place (WC winner) in my division, to claim home field throughtout (which is good since I by far have the best home record in the league).

My first round opponent plays in BOB (hitters park). His season stats, and my experience, shows he hits worse vs lefties. Do I start Clemens game 1 and 5? Or do I actually use Willis (he wont pitch otherwise) and start Mds and Rusch in games 1 and 2, with Clemens and Burnett at his place and willis 5th?

Sorry, but my playoff record is pretty craptastic... :cry:

Just my 2 cents here so take it with a grain of salt....if that even makes any sense.

I would start Clemens games 1 and 5, Madritsch in game 2, Rusch in game 3 and Willis in game four. That way you got your best pitcher in for 2 games and the 2nd best pitcher vs lefties in for an important game 4, with your third best pitcher in for game 3.

Thats just my 2 cents.
