[b:a71e81b39a]ck[/b:a71e81b39a], I wouldn't disagree violently with your points. I don't have a good system for rating platoons, so I can't compare Boca/Trot to an individual player - I agree that's a very good combo. B.Wilk doesn't have astronomical value rating in my system - I picked him for positional flexibility.
Also, please consider that one of my highest priorities when drafting is to build a team that DOES NOT have to be tinkered with on a daily basis. Normally my teams run on autopilot for 162 games. For this league, I'll probably set starters once a week.
I've got [b:a71e81b39a]O.Hudson[/b:a71e81b39a] rated higher than both A.Ken & A.Cora. ...yes, that probably has something to do with valuation of the range factor and it wouldn't surprise me if my math was a little bit off.
As for Lowry & Alvarez, I don't consider them comparable to Dubose/2003 - Dubose was waaaaaaay underpriced by TSN. The point of an exteme pitcher like that is he forces teams to put weaker players into the lineup. For example, if I force you to stick Munson into the lineup, I consider that a win. I may unloead one or both of them. Once all of the teams are drafted, I'll analyze / estimate the % vs. LHB they'll face over the season.
