Stopping the Pinch Runner

How do I stop the pinch runner from replacing my best hitter every game? Owens keeps replacing Helton ... and then when helton's spot comes up again, I have a scrub playing.

I also lose helton's defense (2e2) when HAL puts in a 4e37.

Grrrrr.

What can i do????? it is very frustrating.

Do you have Owens listed as a pinch runner? If so, then remove him. Also, put Helton down as do not pinch hit for vs rhp and lhp. I know this doesn't mean pinch run, but for me, it seems to prevent being pinch run for- most of the time.

thanks, I'll give it a shot. But then I won't be able to pinch run for my catcher late in the game. :(

I've asked for 2 year that Bernie add in one more checkbox on the players cards for "Do not pinch run for". I am as sick of you as seeing my 10 mil hitter removed for a scrub who then doesn't score and I am left with a huge hole in my lineup.
