$80 mil DH auto-draft. But lotto draft for franchise

Franchise players remain your property all year

Top 4 salaried franchises chosen can have up to 2 non franchise free agents that are chosen from the 12 franchises not drafted.

Next 4 highest salaried franchises can have up to 4 free agents.

The bottom 4 lowest salaried franchises can carry up to 6 free agents on their roster

Free agents can be traded, dropped and added at will as long as you do not exceed your FA limit (2,4 or 6)

Lotto (pick 3 highest to lowest) to determind franchise draft order and divisions will be aligned by geography. You must use your franchise home park and your team name must contain the city OR nickname of your franchise.

Gene I was going to start a theme league with this same idea in mind... but was waiting as I will be OOP next week. If it doesn't fill, count me in on MondayFeb 6.

I was thinking 2-4-6 instead of 3-6-9. Those top few teams don't need much help AT ALL!

Have to see if I am lucky enough to pick up a credit from my latest playoff team since I am now out of credits. If I do, count me in.

Tomwistar,

Since you are the only other one signed up, do you care if we change to a 2-4-6 free agent format instead of 3-6-9? This will still help the weaker clubs but will still make the core of all teams their own franchise players. And I think we can attract more players this way.

I'll join. I've never been in a theme league. What do I need to do?
