the more they stay the same.

My first 3 2008 teams reach the playoffs take a sip of coffee, and exit after 3 games.

It's 2007 all over again for me. :? :?

Visick, maybe you and Kev are related. You win and fail in the playoffs. Kev loses with remarkable consistency.

What are you talking about Vis, I guess you haven't finished the cup and gotten the the yummy chocolate at the bottom yet :P

We all have bad periods, mine was 03 and 04, 03 was particularly painful as I never failed to reach the playoffs in autoleagues, including 2 season over 100 and 7 seasons over 94 and yet not 1 title from those.

I feel your pain - my squad won 96 games, home field advantage AND had the best road record in the league then lost Game 5 by a run in the first round by leaving 10 men on base. All totalled, they scored only 13 runs in the series despite hitting 7 homers and putting 53 men on base. This after finishing second overall in runs scored during the regular season.

Worse still, Joe Mauer went 0-for-20 in the playoffs facing nothing but right-handers the whole series after hitting .312 with .884 OPS during the regular season against 'em. That's just f***ed up.

Last season's '07 and this season's version of '07 has sucked for me. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong as opposed to the earlier years, but me don't like mediocrity. I hate this game at the moment. :x

If it wasn't for the theme leagues I like to generate I feel my playing would be real limited at the moment.

Hey Jeep...

Maybe we should co-manage a team.

A couple of half-wits equals a full wit right?

Of course when we lose in the semis, I'll have to blame you.

first two '07 teams won 100 and 102 games, and BOTH bounced in the opening round. and now in our new league vis...we're neck and neck for last at 3-6, with mine opening 0-3, which is almost always a fatal beginning.
