I'm looking for a 1 or 2 CF. Not much to offer, but I'll deal my 4th pick in the FA draft to get somebody.

The number next to your team is the combined wins that your two teams had in 2007, the lowest win total get the 1st pick and so on. The 1 rd. draft is for one FA player you get to add to your two teams. You can place this player on your draft card or pick him up in FA (you have exclusive rights to him). I just posted the divisions right before your question. I will copy the rest of the rules below.....

Hey all, jonesing for a new 2007 theme league.....I'm a Philly guy and never get any Phillies on my teams so I figured lets do a hometown league where you sign up and put your hometown next to your name. We are looking for a bit of honesty here, but when I say hometown I mean put town the geographically closest major leagur city. Example, if you live in Erie, PA you would put Pittsburgh (or Cleveland) which ever is closer. That city is your no. 1 team.....first come first serve, so if team one is from Philly and so is team 2 that signs up, then team two will have to pick the next closest town which is Baltimore, then NY, then DC and so on. After 12 owners have picked their hometown team, everybody gets a second franchise to use which would be the second closest major league franchise to their hometown city. So if you are from NYC and took the Yankees, but somebody already took the Mets bc they were from Newark, NJ then your second team would be Boston or Phila, etc....whoever is left. The remaining 8 teams are open for free agency. You can only put players from your two teams on your draft card. This will be a $200M league, frenzy, DH, 5/10/20 where trades and FA are allowed. Trades are unlimited and so our FA drops and pickups as long as each team has a maximum of 8 non hometown team roster spots....meaning if you have 28 players, 20 or more must be from your two franchise teams. Lets Playball!!
Oh, and the order of picking the 2nd team will be in reverse order of the 1st round. You must pick the team geographically closest to your hometown that is remaining, if their is no teams close and it is not clear what team is closest, then use your best judgement to pick the closest remaining team.
Since we cannot determine waivers order, we will hold a one round draft here on the boards for a FA player not on a drafted franchise. The owner who selects the two franchise with the worst overall combined record (based on 2007 MLB stats) will get the first pick and so on down the line. The player each owner select is then the property of that owner and he/she can either place him on the autodraft card or pick him in FA (we will do a frenzy). Remember, you cannot pick up any players in FA that are on a franchise that was drafted.....you can only acquire them via trade.

Can we pick up players from undrafted teams that were not chosen in the player draft?

Of course, there are no other FAs then the undrafted teams:

Minn, KC, Fla, CHC, Mil, Stl

Ok .. now I am a little confused..
I saw whee there is a one round draft..
and then I saw a trade offer for a 4th round FA ..
and I also saw a notation somewhere saying that the max number of FA's on your roster will be 8..

Help me out.. please..
:)

Not sure about the 4th rd trade thing, I guess some people are offering trades? Anyway, see the rules right above. Since we cannot do waivers through TSN that would help to even out any disparity in the teams owners wre given (since they were based on geography and not really picked), I setup a 1 round "waivers" draft here on the boards for teams to pick one FA from undrfated franchises.
For your rosters, to keep in the spirit of the hometown theme, at all times you may only have a max of 8 players not from your original two drafted franchises. Other than that, you may trade or pickup FAs from undrafted franchises as much as you want. You CANNOT pick FAs from franchises that have been drafted, only the aforementioned 6 teams listed above.

Offered the 4th pick in the FA draft, which is mine, not the 4th round.
