I guess nobody wanted them ...

LOL will do. I can't believe all those guys are available. Maybe everyone just tried to get hitters and realized that there's a big chance they won't get those guys. I've never had RJ nor Santana and probably never will.

As for experiments...do you guys usually do those with free credits as this game can get pretty expensive. That or you'd probably have to get the 5 pack eh? I might get the 5 pack when the new game comes out.

Good luck with your experiment. You are carrying a couple extra hitters you may not need (Ventura and Mientkiewicz?), and perhaps you could rearrange some of your $$ to upgrade one of your SPs at least a little...but that might go against your experiment.

I'd certainly think about dumping one of those expensive relievers for a stud starter. Might mess with the integrity of your experiment though.

My feeling is that with HAL's funky tendencies, you won't get full value out of those 3 big relievers. But what do I know?

and here is a league with just the oppisite where all these hitters are available(it really sucks because I always go for hitting except in this league I went with Shea and took players built for Shea)
Most teams in this league are either Shea(1 Safeco) and the rest are pretty much all pitching

Aray - you forgot to mention that almost every team is a Coors, Ameriquest....hitters parks. I'm in this league with you, decided to try my first 2005 Coors team, and wound up with a league where everyone tried hitters parks. I think my team sucks and it will be a long season but hey, 2006 will be out in 6-7 weeks. Good luck

Not exactly the same theme but similar, with no pitcher over $2m and the entire staff under $20m (in Coors, though). Won a title with this one and set a couple of hitting records.
