We had quite a league this winter. My Team, The Cabrini Green Eggs and Ham, won 110 games which is up there for most wins in 69. My team ERA was 2.80 which is top 5. Not that anyone would really care, but I won my 110th in game 162 when Al Weis(!?!?) stole home in the 10th inning. This team, of course, lost in the finals to a team that won 82 games.

Another team in our league, "Senior Suburban" had relief pitcher Lou Marone with a 0.54 ERA and 0.80 WHIP in 67+ innings of work. Pretty amazing, and another record.

Jim Perry also had 10 shutouts, which ties the record. We had two pitchers, Tatum and Wise, who batted .364 setting a new record. Wise pitched on 2 different teams which might disqualify him, however. Davey Johnson set a new doubles record with 63.

There was also a perfect game pitched by Dick Bosman:

And a no-hit, no-walk 11K outing by Messersmith. Perfect game foiled by an error on Javier:
