'Draft EVERYONE' 2005 Live Draft League - Trade Away!

Postby ERICTAYLOR 2 » Thu Jan 26, 2006 9:58 pm

Even though I would have next to no chance in a 60 mill league because of the over-priced jack-offs I am currently drafting, I would be up for one. :D

what's the point of the clock then? ( or is it a manual thing, in which case we count on an adminstrator to notice it's expired and click the skip)

speaking of stadiums...got a suggestion on how to work the stadium issue so everyone isn't scrambling to get in or stay out of the division they want and don't want, and then get shutout like a $25.oo game of musical chairs. why not make stadium picks part of the 75 rounds...then if its REALLY important to you, you'll decide where you want to give up a player in a given round, and also have time to change stragies and roster tendencies if the one you've been building towards dissappears. we could say no stadium drafting until a certain round has passed and we're starting over at the top of the draft. (10th round, 15th, 20th etc) I know this is switching rules in stream, so likely shot down, and maybe not even something anyone agrees on, but a suggestion.

The clock is always on (at least from 9-12mid Eastern - to the best of my knowledge), but when it expires on an owners turn, the next pick needs to be made manually before any future proxies can be executed.

So either Mr. BBW or the owner after him will need to make a pick to get the clock running on the next pick(s) and/or for proxies following their picks to execute.

It can be 'frustrating' at times, but personally I am glad the next pick needs to be made manually, because sometimes it is good to have a lull so other owners can re-stock up on proxies and re-examine their draft strategy.

On a similar note, I'm note 100% sure, but I think the clock is OFF during the weekend ... but won't know til tomorrow!
