Came up just short......had a bad feeling going in to the last 3 as the 25 bucks pretty much owned me all season.

Very disappointed in the performance of Mauer. I knew the injury bug would be an issue, but hitting .234 with OBP under .300. Yuk!

Good luck to all in playoffs and I look forward to seeing all of you in future leagues.

Hey PM,

Yeah, those numbers stink for Mauer. My "Mauer" was Roberts who finished .242, .329.

Not as bad as Mauer, but close, and Roberts cost me over $6 mil.

Hey J-Pav,

A couple of lucky wins for us. Especially the first one with back-to-back single and errors by Spiezio. And then in the first inning of game 2 hits off of Ojeda and Theriot. Ojeda has to be a little surprising, Therioit less so.

Say, what's the story with the pitching change? You had Shearn slated to start game 2 all weekend and then you change it today? Can I expect Wright and Gabbard in the next two or are you going to make changes again?

A split and that's what I expected. I took a huge risk and started my worst pitcher (by far) in Game 2 to get him out of the way. Loewen has been brutal and his performance last night notwithstanding.

Now I can toss my 2 lefty's who have pitched well this season in Games 3 & 4 tonight, and if it goes a 5th game, the surprise of my staff all year, Batista is slated for Game 5.

I need at least one tonight though (obviously).

[b:e32539ee84]Joe[/b:e32539ee84]:

Good road series for you. I can't do any better than having Soria on the hill with a lead in the 9th. Then a second 9th inning loss??

Them's the breaks in the short series.

Gabbard and Wright are on for tonite's away series. I thought about sending out Shearn when I looked at it on Friday. I didn't even mess with my teams over the weekend. As I looked at all our matchups over the season right before the game, it seemed like Snell had a decent chance for a good outing, even though like [b:e32539ee84]Jeep[/b:e32539ee84], I knew Game 2 would be my least favorable matchup. I was also a little leary of giving you the chance to pack the line-up with seven lefties against two hard righties. As you can see, I overthought it, but in the end I think Snell was the right call, even though I didn't catch the dice this time.

I needed Zambrano to win game one, but hopefully he'll get a shot at redemption tomorrow!

GL to all again,

Wow. Down by four in the 8th in game three...

A coin flip for all four of us tomorrow night.

One more time fellas -

GL to all,

Yeah, looks like the luck turned a bit tonight. Interesting that we both have won on the road. HOpefully that will continue for one more night. ;)

Unfortunately, Hal had used 4-5 RPs in each of the first two games so the only guy that was available in game 3 was Tankersley and he managed to give up 5 big ones with a 9-5 lead. :( The last run coming when he walked Loney with the bases loaded.

We had a chance in the bottom of the 8th with a one out 2b, but we missed a 1-9 bpsi and the Roberts whiffed.

Probably wouldn't have mattered with a tired Tankersley on the mound.

Both series are going the distance. Should be interesting. We're rubbing the rabbit's foot all day tomorrow. ;) :)

I'm sure I'm the underdog in Vegas. Even though the Bucks are home we have Batisa vs. Harang. Harang had better numbers, but Batista was 12-9 and Harang 15-16.

With both series going 5 it will be nerve-racking tonight. GL all.

I just noticed this. Howard has driven in 12 of the 13 runs I've scored in this series. Only Salty's 1 RBI does another player have a ribbie. Wow.

On a sidenote something a little funny. It's:

[i:fc04b4c37c]Wings at 25 Bucks[/i:fc04b4c37c]

That could be a sign on the front of [i:fc04b4c37c]Hooters[/i:fc04b4c37c].
