ive got an idea, how about if all 12 owners keep the other eleven in mind, and if they know ahead of time they're going to be away for an extended time, oh, like say the people who were completely out of the country were somehow capable of doing...you figure out how to, and use some proxies? it gets AWFULLY tiresome constantly checking in throughout the day and seeing NO progress, and checking your proxy box and seeing the same names there all day.
i wish we could reset the clock to three hours, but I don't think the sight will let us.

it's now been 4-1/2 hours and counting. for some reason my proxy isn't firing and its not skipping him, and the board reads pj is rup until 1:50 eastern, which passed twenty minutes ago. I went into adminisration. there's a box that says proxy execution and its listed as no, but when I chane it to yes, it just says update draft. however, obviously lots of proxies have been executed, including some of mine. fwiw, I did update draft to 3-hour windows.

thanks akindian, didn't know that...we're moving again. kinda sucks that skip function only works that way. if i'd a known, we'd have been moving on an hour and a half ago...

Sacre Bleu ! Le Garcon Viande calls me a fromage eater just because I said it was highly unliikely I would take Monsieur masher Bonds ON MY FIRST TURN. I was shocked he was still hanging around for the SECOND turn -- Guys, BB won the MVP last time, and he's the leading vote-getter after 90 games in my current Tour league (we're 51-39, 2nd place, holding the Wild Card, thanks for asking), with these numbers:

Okay, he can't field and he can't throw and he might miss 35 games. He still should be a first or second round choice. My jaw dropped that he made it to open the fourth. No way I was letting that go.

Beside, I was drunk, 10 am-ish, in the airport business lounge, hadn't slept in two days or so, and the guy who had just TAKEN THE TITLE THAT WAS RIGHTFULLY MINE was longing for Barry to linger just a little longer. That would be enought to put a little frog into anybody..... :twisted:

nice progress today, shocked not only that it got back to me, but that the only other proxy I left, and the guy I was debating between loney and, ludwick, was still there. lots of snipers though spoiling plans for what little pitching ill have...pj shows up and snags hammels, my bullpen warhorse from the title team, isringhausen, snatched, and marmol also taken. harang, the last of the great * starters gone, and victorino, taken off the platoon defensive sub board. it's almost back to balmer, who obviously failed to realize, bonds HATES the french!
