Playing Strat while the house is burning down!

Not only should TSN worry about a claim of tortious distraction, but also the carpal tunnel you've developed while maneuvering your mouse at this site all the time might just result in a personal injury claim to go with the property damage one...and then there's the wife's alienation of affection claim...who woulda thunk it that America's pasttime could lead to all of this litigation??

Sorry to hear about that Coffee. Glad everyone is ok and the house is still standing.

We had a similar incident on Christmas night. Self-cleaning oven was supposedly cleaning itself but instead it caught itself on fire. I don't know much about physics but I thought if we opened it up it could explode or something so we called the fire department. Besides we couldn't open it anyways...it had a lock mechanism that won't let you open it until a certain time I guess. By the time the fire department got here the fire had burned itself out. So just so you know...yer not alone. It's happened to others too.

Coffee - great story. I'm glad everything worked out okay, and you realize you can laugh about it.

Heres another strat story. Some of you may know about this one as I'm sure I'm not the only one to have done it. My wife and I take turns with all the chores and on one particular frenzy night, I had the dubious job of loading the dishwasher. My wife had gone to bed and I was busy running back and forth from the computer to the kitchen, which is right around the corner from where I usually sit. It was getting close to midnight so I was trying to finish before the frenzy started. Finally....all loaded and ready to start but.... NO CASCADE IN THE BOX! Quick solution! Dawn! Liquid dishsoap on the counter! Figuring dish soap is dish soap, I proceeded to put a generous quantity in the little soap dispenser inside the washer. Turned it on and ran back to the puter just in time for the frenzy. About an hour goes by and my wife comes out of the bedroom and goes into the kitchen. She lets out a gut wrenching scream of "WHAT THE....?" So around the corner I go and see....waist high, and about 6 feet out from the dishwasher, nothing but bubbles! I had NO clue that kind of churning from the dishwasher would do that. First bad thing...she knew WHY I didn't notice. And second...I discovered there is NO easy way to dispose of bubbles. On the bright side, I haven't started any fires yet!

Coffee,

I think we'd be in the clear as long as the judge isn't a woman.

[i:47cb8cffee]The difference between men and women is that, if given the choice between saving the life of an infant or catching a fly ball, a woman will automatically choose to save the infant, without even considering if there's a man on base. [/i:47cb8cffee]
