richard, welcome, live drafts are the best way to build a strat team, we'll help you as much as we can.
to get an idea, here's a link to how one was done, with a similar theme, here on the boards. you can go to the individual league chat thread and look for any headings that say draft, and scroll through.
major deegan's sight www.somdraft.com merely expediates and simplifies the process, and allows you to constantly see whose left and whose been picked from the player pool. here's the link to a draft with the all-time great card set, where each owner had a different franchise, linked to a player he took from that team.
