Most teams look like they have filled a batting order. Pjredsoxfan, Calbatross, and Zim need catchers. Zim, who has picked 7 total pitchers, also needs a left-fielder. I need a third baseman still. Meat needs a shortstop.

Only Calbatross and I have finished starting rotations, each of us going with four-man rotations. Mark needs one more four-day starter, Tom, Curt, and Zim need one starter of any sort. Everybody else needs two, for a total of 16 more needed. No starters left with salaries above 1.66; at least a couple of teams are going to be regularly starting sub-1.00 starters. Better get them fast!

Four ballparks taken. I've got lefty-leaning PNC Park; Akindian and Meat have grabbed the two most HR-oriented stadiums/stadia, Citizens Bank and Great American. Jason, with righties throughout his lineup except lefty McCann and switch-hitting Berkman, picks righty-leaning Turner.

I've called Mark's cell and sent him a bberry message, but I suspect he's got both shut off. I know he had a brutal week at work (but how much more brutal than my having to fly back and forth from the South of France and party hard with some of the biggest, most decadent names in the advertising industry? I mean, c''mon.....).

I know he's quite the Family Man on weekends, but I bet he checks in before the Kansas sun sets. I have a ton of proxies set, because everybody left is pretty deeply flawed (except maybe for a few solid but unspectacular middle guys) and if I don't get one, another is probably not that bad a substitute).

In fact, I already have a few deeply flawed guys in my starting lineup. Can you say Aaron Boone? Whoda thunk he'd be my #1 3B? Love that .381 OBA; not so thrilled with the 5 injury rating. Between Boone's five injury rating, Renteria's 4 and Matsui's 3, my last round draft of Mark Loretta became a necessity. I was glad he was still available, and expect him to see 300+ AB this 'season.'
