I'l pick shortly before I hit the beach for the day...strategizing for what its worth. when you log in, looke for 1 Player draft, not the empty ONE PLAYER...delete that draft if you can kev.

1) 31 round draft. (30 players and a stadium).

2) We will pick only 1 player from each team. You can trade and add/drop players, but you must have only 1 player from a team.

3) We will draft 30 players, 25 go on the draft card. You will have 1 day after the draft to add players up to the 28 max limit. You loose rights to anyone not on your roster after the 1 day period.

4) 200mil cap, 10% drop, Frenzy post draft.

5) We will use Major's somdraft.com site for the draft. Proxies will be a challenge (Ya gotta be creative).

6) I will collect email addresses from every and send a spreadsheet with the picks by Strat team and MLB team.

7) The draft will probably take awhile, if you are impatient, this may not be the format for you.

8) We will use the 2007 card set.

We only go as fast as the slowest person in the first round and right now that is durantjerry.

Paging Jerry Durant. It is your turn, kind sir. What happens if we are working or sleeping when it is our turn? Does a computer pick for us, or do we just wait until everyone gets their chance? I was just wondering(I am not in any hurry). I am very happy to be in this league.

Generally there is a 4 hour clock to make your pick. The clock is usually only on Mon-Fri from around 7AM to 10PM Eastern time (or something close to that). If there have been 4 hours of "clock on" time since the last pick and the next person has not picked, you are then able to make your next pick skipping that person. In the first round there is no clock however.

To prevent being skipped you must check in regularly and/or set up proxy picks on the draft site.

Since ironwill1 is our commish he should post what the clock hours are or if there will be a clock at all.

Since this is a 31 round draft we all should be prepared for a very long draft no matter if there is a clock or not. I expect this draft could take 2-3 weeks at best.
