For the division pill, is it based on division setup in the 80's or today. For example,
2005 AL Central
Royals
Indians
Tigers
Twins
Whitesox

or

1985 AL West
Royals
Angels
A's
Twins
Mariners
Whitesox
Rangers

1985 AL East
Yankees
Orioles
Red Sox
Tigers
Blue Jays
Indians

I'm forgetting a team?

Looking for clarification on:

1) Is division pill based on divisions of 1980's or of today?

2) For Billy Beane pill, at which game # can the remaining $15 million be spent?

3) Anyone have a list of qualifying geriatric players they would be willing to share?

Thanks Parkav97 for the Brewers input. How could I forget the Brewers? (Gorman, Oglivive, Yount, Molitor, Money, Cooper!)

Think I'm ready to select once the above questions are answered.

Division pill?

Postby PaddyLanePounders » Sat Jan 28, 2006 12:04 pm

If the division pill is based on the 1980's setup, and a player qualifies by having at least 1 carded year on one of those teams, then I select the division pill

AL West
Royals
Whitesox
Twins
Angels
A's
Mariners
Rangers

IF that is not what this pill means, then I'm probably taking a different pill. This looks like one of the easier pills to swallow and manage.

[quote:5cd1950ae0]we need to know the 10 teams that won a world series in the 80's. The Wanna be pill was selected...so this team can't have a player that played for that team.

80 Phillies
81Dodgers
82Cards
83 Orioles
84Tigers
85Royals
86Mets
87Twins
88Dodgers
89A's

Players who did not play for these teams are eligible. 17 teams. Not a bad poison [/quote:5cd1950ae0]

Does that mean all Phillies for example or only those on the 1980 Phillies? I assume all Phillies when I read the poison, but it could or the other way.
