Do I accept this trade?

Postby Assmeriten » Sat Jan 28, 2006 3:36 pm

Please help me decide.

You give up:
Morgan, Joe (4,130,000)
Womack, Dooley (990,000)

Other team gives up:
Millan, Felix (3,560,000)
Brewer, Jim (1,460,000)

Morgan right now is my lead off hitter but my combo of Tovar/Brock can cover that which means who would bat second? Millan because of his bunting?

Taking Milan's defense into consideration, he is a better value than Morgan.

You don't need Maz at 2B anymore either. Saves you money.

Brewer is a better value too.

Your lineup could be similar to the one below.

Brock
Wynn
Epstein
Jackson
Bench

looking at your pitching staff you need milan. way better than morgan. u dont need morgan to lead off if u have brock. you got way too many guys. u can dump tovar, unless its a dh league.

Here is how the trade ended up working out.

You give up:
Mazeroski, Bill (910,000)
Morgan, Joe (4,130,000)

Other team gives up:
Millan, Felix (3,560,000)
Brewer, Jim (1,460,000)

Before waivers I traded Hebner for Brinkman from same owner so he has traded me half my infield. 8)
