[b:7169ec88a0]Chad Qualls[/b:7169ec88a0] is a result of waiting too long to get a co-closer with David Weathers. I wanted a righty that was better against lefties, waited a couple of rounds, and watched them all go. That aside, he does have a closer rating, and is an option.

[b:7169ec88a0]Jeremy Hermida[/b:7169ec88a0] would be a better pick if he didn't have a 3 injury roll and play just right field badly. He'll probably wind up in a platoon with Chris Duncan, who can't hit lefties at all, with Luke Scott switching from left field to right as needed and Hunter Pence in center.

[b:7169ec88a0]Busch Stadium[/b:7169ec88a0] was the last pitcher-friendly park available. I don't have a lot of sluggers. This will help keep Zim's team from pounding the ball out of the park when they visit.

[b:7169ec88a0]Ron Mahay[/b:7169ec88a0] will probably be a LOOGY for the most part, but he can go two innings and isn't awful against righties. Since LOOGYs wind up facing righties 60 percent of the time anyway, that's important.

[b:7169ec88a0]Rajai Davis[/b:7169ec88a0] was picked about three rounds too early. He's a speedy, decent defense guy, but can also hit. In the 007 league, that guy was Endy Chavez, but Chavez has a 5 injury roll and can't hit enough to keep him part of the outfield rotation. Davis is a plausible substitute at any outfield position.

Still needed -- a backup catcher and at least one more starter. Proxies loaded for four rounds.

Uhhh....Curt -- Isn't RFK Stadium like THE pitchers' park? I still see it hanging out there, along with a bunch of other stadiums that really do nothing for me.
