Now this one was a real stretch. I've been fortunate enough to have been able to watch the Nippon Ham Fighters battle it out in the Tokyo Dome on more than once occasion and I sometimes see Darvish on TVJapan in the States so I get the attraction. He seems to be one hell of a pitcher.

On KD's comment, he is half Iranian on his Father's side but DARUBISH Yuu is an all-Japanese pitcher. I had not heard that he was planning to play in the U.S. though....
