Maybe a little easier to communicate for discussing another season

Thanks for setting up this site. I like your idea for a replay league and hope it works out.

Some thoughts, open for debate
a) Keep same divisions
b) 10 players protected
c) We will choose a deadline to announcing (posting) your protected players.
d) Our draft cards will have our 10 protected players as the last 10 on the cards. From talking with a couple people who have run keeper leagues in the past, this is the fairest way of drafting and protecting.
e) We can change ballparks if we want
f) If we get 1 or 2 owners not wanting to play again, we can solicit for replacement owners.

Any other ideas, or changes to these, please post.

Below, I have listed our current divisions by team, just copy the list and add YES after the team, that way we know who all is in. I have put YES's next to those I know are in from our mail box postings...

I, for one, am excited by the prospect of a replay, and I hope people are not fading on the idea with two people saying nyet.

I think that if the eight of us (with 2 still to weigh in hopefully) really want to do this, we could easily find replacement owners to take the orphaned teams.... what do you all think?

Here is the update:

EAST
Holy Schmoes - YES
NH Primaries - YES
La Verne RainbowGypsies - NO
The Followers of Genghis Kahn - NO
CENTRAL
Mabel's Saloon - YES
Garfield Orz'z - YES
Conway Suns - YES
Newark Marauditors - YES
WEST

Whoa mama - YES

I can see that everyone in the Central is ready to come back and prove that my season was a fluke. 8)

Should be fun.

Maybe we should send a PT to the remaining two owners, see if they're onboard. One of them is Mighty Moose, right? He shouldn't be too hard to get in touch with.

Or can we no longer PT with this new system?

Palanion,

The structure you have for the replay looks sound. I'm agreeable to it.

The proposals outlined so far sound pretty good. The only one I would propose discussing is keeping 10 players. Personally, a lot of keeper leagues that I see limit the players kept to a $$$ amount versus setting a number. I think that keeping 10 players could potentially severly limit the player pool to draft from, so the teams that had a rough season will be less likely to improve significantly.
