I now have Chipper and Berkman in the same lineup for next season! Yikes!!!
Here's hoping Miguel Cabrera finishes strong for the Tigres!

FYI...Berkman has 12 SB with only 2 CS so far this season....Big Puma has speed!

Its one of those things where it wasnt a matter of either guy being available. We have been talking about potential trade offers since the 2nd half of last season and finally came to a win win for both of us.

Kaviksdad agrees to trade Chase Utley to Ninersphan in exchange for:
Eric Aybar
the Rights to Prospect Evan Longoria
Ninersphan's 1st round supplemental pick this year
both of Ninersphan's upcoming prospect picks.
Ninersphan's 3rd round free agent pick in 2009.
Steep price, but worth it I think, especially if I'm gonna keep up with Splinter.
BTW similar to the earlier trade, this means I'll be a 39 p[layers for the upcoming season and KD will be done drafting in the supp draft after round 2.
Oh and I now have surplus 2b to deal,
Castillo, Cabrera and Johnson are all available.
