Some input on a really odd team please!!

I don't usually put my teams up for critique, but aside from being lopsided with RH hitters, I have no clue what to do to improve this team! They are leading the league in runs scored, and dead last in the pitching dept. Heres the hard part to figure out, they are 23-16 at home (Baker Bowl) and 11-34 on the road. I know the starters aren't the greatest although I have had steady performances out of all of them in the past. Especially Coveleski and Knepper. Other stadiums in my divison are Yankee '56, Candlestick '52 and Griffith '24. Am I just a victim of circumstances here or is this team just that bad? :? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My guess is part of your problem is Willie Horton. You play with fire having a 4 start both ways in the field. His D can kill you and you don't even know it because of the poor reporting by TSN in the boxscores. Die rolls displayed would be really helpful. Instead we get pitch counts????(^(^*&. Opponents lefties are also hitting .337 against you and are feasting on Knepper and Osteen especially. Coveleski has been getting hit hard on some of my teams lately too. I think Hal just doesn't like him right now for some reason. Don't think your pitching is well suited to your park in general though, except for him.

My team isn't doing well either in that league, only 44-40. So don't feel too bad. Shit happens.

Thanks guys for the input. Horton, for the dollar value, has been great for me in both Polo and Baker. Never sure how many hits he gives up being a 4, but his errors are always low and I always get 30+ HR's out of him. Not sure if I want to lose him or not.
Rettenmund does play left and right but is injured for another 9 games yet! Buster, your right about Gorden. I have him targeted for a pink slip. He usually does well but hasn't performed all season. I already dumped Catfish as he was getting killed also. Replaced him, out of desperation and lack of dollars, for Petry....who took his place getting killed! I have been toying with the notion of dropping Dimaggio for somebody cheap, but good on defense in order to beef up my pitching. I hate to lose him but my pitching is killing me. I still can't explain why this team is so bad on the road though. Worst away record in ATG I've had so far! :?
