According to the 2003 Record books - the most runs scored in a 2003 season was 1288 by dobak (I wonder if he is still around). Currently no team is on pace to break that record - much less crack the top5 - however there are 3 teams on pace to score 1000+ runs.

There are few things I dislike more than getting swept at home - so I guess on the other end of the spectrum, there is not much more of a pleasant surprise than to win a sweep on the road. I do feel a little bad for the owner that got swept, but only a little (since I am sure that they wouldnt feel too bad if the situation was reversed).

I was one 9th inning rally away from being swept at home!

I don't think I've ever seen a 4 HR game before for one of my teams! :)

Team has cooled off a little bit, having won only 1 of the past 4 series.

We're now at the 1/3 mark. Just on pace for slightly less than 1000 Runs ... might need to keep my offense going if I am to keep the offensive juggernaut known as the Bagels from breathing down my neck. ;)

J. Gonzalez is on pace to hit 63 HR & 147 RBI - some how I do not see that continuing!

Team continues to struggle while the Bagels are starting to find their groove - the West division is pretty tight right now.

A sweep should help kickstart us out of our doldrums! :)

Just in time for a key series against the Bagels. Hopefully I can win at least 1 game to keep it close.

This is one streaky team!

Last week we went 7-14, and this week we've already won 9 (of 12) games, with another 3 series to play!

Only won 3 of the last nine - lets rebound tonight! At least I still have control of the WC.

Hard to believe the season is already 1/2 over!

Todd Pratt just hit 2 HR in 3 games, after hitting 4 in 87. ;)

I got the rebound I was hoping for - and on the road no less - hopefully we can use it to build some momentum. :)
