LOTO(AKA League Of their Own) 05' CONSOLATION LEAGUE

Ugh! The bully let me down lastnight. Hoffman just isn't pitching worth the money I'm paying him right now. He'd better get his chit together soon or he'll find himself riding pine. :x

Doesn't it just figure, I try to give my pitching some love and *POOF!* they promptly go out and blow two saves!

It seems to me theat Kauffman...

Could be the perfect foil for all these power oriented parks and teams, AT...That is, if you can get just the right mix of righty/lefty combinations. I think the best way to win at Kauffmann is to take the highest avg. hitters available - esp. the right side. You might just want to carry a couple of tough cheap LH SPs as well for the 3 Sheas too.

AND, as Tyber stated - it's a long season and still very early...You may just be victim to some bad rolls so far...SWP

Yeah that was my idea also Rob ... which is why I've got Grudz, Mora, Barrett & Wilson ... all of whom have 30+ Hit chances and 50+ TB chances. Grudz and Mora are doing great but Barrett, Wilson and especially Ichiro have been off to a very slow start.

Probably should have stored a LH SP on my squad, but I am usually too busy to worry about matchups, so I stuck with my 4 * SP. I figure Kauffman is to BP Singles what Wrigley is to BP HR, so hopefully the 4 RH SP rotation will work (eventually) as well in Kauffman as it usually does for me in Wrigley.

Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrr-gh!!!!!!!!!!

If there is something that gets my waz is a collapsable bully! Swept by the Full English Breakfast -Or as we call 'em, swept by the Eggs and Soldiers. Three extra inning losses  I need an emoticon of a man dropping an anvil on his big toe to stop the pain...just like I feel.

I still can't figure my team. 3-6 at home. But I know that after cameron mucked up my last team I can't believe I let him in this one, too. He's gone, and teh experiment with A-Rod leading off vs RHP is gone, too.

Maybe it'll help, maybe not. Visiting migmahon at Shea tonight. Oh joy.

Frookie Foot Foot!!!

Jeez. I can't stand loosing.

Ty, I'll get you for this sweep  Even if I have to pimp Pujols to the entire population of Fiji I'll get you for this one ! (Hope you know I'm joking -NOT )

O.K. I'll make an announcement here to radically change the tide. From now on Jessica Rabbit strips for every consecutive WIN.

Hmmmpff, Bah-Humbagh! That should do it.

If that doesn't fix it I'LL start stripping before each series, THAT alone should make you loose some games.

All I can say Cummings is that the team continues to defy logic. I said it before and I'll say it again...SMOKE AND MIRRORS!

I starting to wonder if, other than opening day, I'll ever field my full L/U again?? The injury bug seems to have taken up residence in my clubhouse. Get one guy back and -poof!- down goes somebody else.

I've had teams in the past that have had your occasional injury but never one that has been as plagued as this one has so far.

I know how it feels to be frustrated with a team too Cummings. My latest 80's squad, hereafter to be known as "That piece of crap" is one example. Nothing has worked to make that team better! I've never had so many cards turn out to be the player's $hit year in my life! I almost can't bear to check in on them anymore.

I was 'miserable' being the worst team in the league so I invited Cummings & Rob to join me. ;)

Seriously thought - it is nice to get a series win, although I do feel a tiny bit bad that it came at robvoz's expense. :o
