Missed waiver deadline by 30 minutes!

Howdy,

I'm a newbie with a 70s team. Recently the draft finished and the result was that my main RH closer was removed from my roster by SOM.
I decided to amend this situation on waiver deadline day only to find that I'd missed the actual deadline by minutes! (I wanted to drop a LH reliever to add a RH reliever and was denied.)
Can any of you veterans tell me what my recourse is now? Trades? Can I still drop a LH reliever and replace him with a righty? Or is it best to complete a season with only a single RH reliever and not complain? Thanks!

if the results of your first game haven't been posted yet, you can drop anybody without a penalty, and pick up anybody available, so long as you meet roster requirements
