Divisional alignment will draft order 1-4 East, 5-8 Central, 9-12 West.
Franchise Eligibility prior to Auto draft - Determined by teams the cards are based on.
FA requirements - The normal 400 AB in any 1 year or 3 years on a roster for hitters and 100 IP in any 1 year for a SP or 3 years on a roster or 50 IP or 3 years for a RP.
After our franchises are chosen, each owner will select TWO FA's in reverse of draft order (12-1).

My understanding of the FA rule is this;

First, their are two FA scenarios in effect; before the autodraft and after the autodraft.

Before the autodraft, teams may pick two players who played for thier franchise, but are not on a franchise picked;

For example, I have the A's. Lets say nobody picks the Tigers or the Angels' Franchises. When my FA draft moment comes, I can pick Cobb and Don Baylor.

After the Autodraft, ANY player who played for my franchise and is not on a roster is open for me to pick up.

For example, the guy who picks the Tigers as his franchise leaves Cobb off his draft card; I can pick up Cobb once the draft is over.

As I'm set for leaving on a cruise this Sunday early morning and this is a 12 by 12 Theme should we set a time frame for draft picks of Franchises.

To me every manager can send me or place their choices on the thread in the order of preference and I'll make sure it's listed. I realize everyone has a life and things happen that's why I think we should do this to make sure we have the proper time for the draft of Franchise players prior to the autodraft and at least a day for me to be able to set up my team.

Does anyone think that the obvious pick here for NYM99 are the NY Mets.
It wouldn't take much for me to go with it.
