Some fun names out there. You just know Ping Bodie's and Togie Pittinger's names factored into their selections.
I'm surprised MM and GK both passed on the bold goodness of Honus Wagner and Eddie Collins. Their loss.

Arryl, your feeble attempts to target my team have been duly noted...
Adrian, any name discussion must include Eddie Stanky. And, I can't have Honus on EVERY one of my teams and Eddie don't do doubles. I intend to set the standard for 2Bs early in ATGIV....

Although Munich management seems unconcerned about the presence of a noted MM Killer team in their division, our intrepid reporting staff has gone deeper to get the true story.
We spoke to several ballplayers currently playing in Munich, and they paint a different story. Unfortunately we decided not to publish their names, due to their request, as they were concerned about violent reprisals to their families. Munich Management has been noted for their harsh means in the past, and it is rumoured that goons funded by the MM Corporation were key in breaking up the last SOM Player Cards strike.
In any case each of these ballplayers independently confirmed that their drinking priviledges had been revoked until they had a winning record against teams in their division. This was never done before with Munich squads, so the indication is that Munich Management is taking this threat very seriously. However, these draconian measures, at least in German standards, may also be in part due to the fact that Munich ballclubs have recently had a 100 loss season, and are on pace to do so again.

While it is true that the Munich squad is currently on pace for a 162 loss season, it is also on pace for a 162 win season.
How to resolve this apparent dichotomy? As a wise sage once remarked, "You got to play the games!"
Comprehensive investigation by Munich management has discovered that the aforementioned "sources" discussed in Arryl "Mesh" T's bilious missive were actually players whose cards had been severely downgraded in the newest version of ATG. Extremely embarassed and despondent at their new scrub-like status, a psychological evaluation has revealed deep-seated issues which have been subsequently resolved through adminitration of copious amounts of the Golden Nectar.
Fortified with new resolve, they have re-dedicated themselved to serving the Fatherteam and will provide much welcome support during the upcoming season.
